Mod VMT system
Mod VMT systems

- More energy savings (lower thermal losses and lower fan consumption) by controlling airflow (supply and return) according to room occupancy (using occupancy detectors and CO2 sensors).
- The system is validated by a Technical Approval.

- Components of the VMT range (Controlled Ventilation for Non-residential) constitute an airflow control system for the non-residential market.
- The Mod Pilot main module:
- Two configurations are possible: with or without Mod MDA.
- Multiple areas to ventilate - configuration with Mod MDA:
- Single area to ventilate - configuration without Mod MDA:
- 3 types of detection:
- 5 diameters, from 125 mm (max airflow 160 m³/h) to 315 mm (max airflow 1100 m³/h).
- CE-certified
- RE 2020 star
- Made in France
The Mod Pilot is the brains of the VMT system: it controls the airflow according to room occupancy to achieve a good IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) with low energy loss.
can accept up to 8 sensors,
can control up to 6 Mod MDA (motorised dampers).
one fan or the air handling unit, which extracts air from several areas,
for each area to ventilate:
1 Mod Pilot main module which receives information from sensors and controls the Mod MDA.
the Mod MDA which opens or closes to adjust the airflow to needs.
1 MR (airflow control module)
Up to 8 Mod Optical sensors (occupancy detection) or a Mod CO2 sensor (CO2 detection)
Optional modules to receive and/or send information to other systems in the building.
1 12V DC power transformer and its circuit breaker.
A suitable duct network.
one fan or the air handling unit, which extracts air from a single area,
1 Mod Pilot main module which receives information from sensors and controls the fan or the Air Handling Unit.
1 12V DC power transformer and its circuit breaker.
1 optional module for Mod Pilot to transmit a control signal to the fan.
Up to 8 Mod Optical sensors (occupancy detection) or a Mod CO2 sensor (CO2 detection)
A suitable duct network.
Agito (several Mod Optical sensors): airflow control proportional to the activity detected.
Presence (Mod Optical sensor): high or low airflow control depending on room occupancy.
CO₂ (Mod CO2 sensor): high/low airflow control or proportional to activity detected, based on the CO2 level.
- Non-residential:
- New builds and refurbishment.
- Technical Approval indicating an airflow coefficient (Crbndr) reduction for energy use calculations.
- Technical Approval for Controlled Ventilation in Non-Residential Buildings no. 14.5/16-2185_V3
- CEE-eligible: operation sheet No. BAT-TH-125 and 126
- Once the installation is complete, the network should not require any specific work. The IN-OUT 1-10V MOD, Mod Relay, or Mod Contact modules can return information or receive commands from a central building management system (BMS).
- Installation for interior use only.
- 230V 30W power supply with circuit breaker for each ventilated area (excluding fan).
- Installation and connection of sensors, of Mod MDA, optional modules.
- Duct connections.
- Installation of diffusers.
- Configuration of operating mode by Aldes commissioning (optional).
